Hastings Based Community Magazine 1066 Country EBB & FLOW (non-profit) out now...Autumn/Winter 2003 Christmas Season. Free with SAE (Gift donations appreciated to help its production but not an obligation).Any one private who wishes to place some information within that would benefit their business (a gift donation would be appreciated, thank you - if space allows they will then have a mention.)
Once the Editor receives a SAE (keep them coming, which every issue is in production, this will be sent) - Inside this current issue a new section with a hope for growth...YOUR VOICE, It's empty, would anyone like to speak? Find a way, then we could cheat the whiles and the ways of reality ©jl (the magazine is a bouncing board, so who knows who would see or read your inclusion.- you may even be contacted, as your details if you wish would be included..the magazine is unpredictable, never predictable that is why it is such an exiting copy to get hold of - It includes CD review, (all musicians/singers/songwriters have the option to send in copies of their CD's as gifts for possible inclusion as a CD review - what more could it do but help their music along if it gets a mention but also give the Editor who is full of music and poetry in her soul a chance to hear beauty from other people in Hastings) poetry, information from Michael Foster DL MP, some information from the Patron himself, and even a little story from Mr Rabbit who has been on his holidays to Agadir. Why not chance it and send for a copy. You may see it occasionally in different venues in the town, if not you have this option. Please tell all your friends about this magazine? Pass it on if you manage to get one or send for one,or even mention it in your conversation - the more that get involved with it, the more people will enjoy. The motto of the magazine is SMILE. The Editor has sight problems so if you make contact or send some information, stories, poetry, recipes, jokes, science, politics etc or even something out of the ordinary - for inclusion, not only to remember to make words legible, but also to remember to keep a copy as the information cannot be returned, but remember, there is no payment, being non-profit, you keep your copyright, the editor has the choice and also has the right to republish if feels deemed. The magazine is growing, slowly but surely. The feedback verbally is promising, it was first established in May 1999 as the Josie Magazine, changed the name to Ebb & Flow, and now has a Patron - LORD Brett Reginald McLean of Hastings since October 2002.(email:LordofHastings@aol.com) (If anyone would like to send a Christmas Wish on a Star to help this magazine grow it will definitely have a mention in a forthcoming magazine) - the Editor hopes another copy will be issued before and for over Christmas, but if not, there is some lovely Chrismas copy within this one...
It is collated in The Hastings Reference Library and has a mention in the current voluntary directory published by Hastings Voluntary Action, Priory Street. (Hard copy and I believe electronic) - and the Hastings Information Centre definitely know about EBB & FLOW - Any child, teenager under 18 must have permission from a parent or guardian sent with their inclusions either by post or email - let us make Ebb & Flow the peoples magazine within Hastings, but with the knowledge the Editor does have guest pages, and that it does go to far away places when requested, or with an understanding already received.
